Can Dogs Watch TV? France 2 Interviews Halo Dogs
Published: July 2025
Can dogs see what’s on television? Do they recognise shapes, colours, and motion on screen? France 2 explored this fascinating topic—and featured Halo Dogs in the process!
Our trainers and canine behaviour experts were invited to share insights on how modern TVs—especially those with higher refresh rates—can actually be perceived by dogs. From enrichment to relaxation, the role of television in your dog’s sensory world might be more significant than you think.
We believe stimulation and visual engagement are key components of a fulfilled dog’s day. That’s why at Halo Dogs, we go beyond the basics to include a variety of enrichment methods—visual, auditory, and physical—to ensure every dog has their day, every day.

Enterprise Enfield Start-Up Business Award 2011

We just got back from a star-spangled event at the Royal Chase Hotel (which is just 20 seconds across the road—luckily, although we still somehow managed to be late!).
At the event, Halo Dogs was honoured with the Enterprise Enfield Start-Up Business Award 2011… woohoo!
Now it’s back in jeans picking up poo. It’s not all glamour and glitz—but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Edie
We feel so lucky to have found our Cockapoo, Edie a doggie day care centre where she is cared for by people who adore animals in the same way as we do.
Justin and his whole team are primarily motivated by their love of animals, and this comes through in the quality of service we get for a very reasonable price.
The highlights have to be the pictures and videos that appear on Facebook, and we love the days where a stinky overgrown pooch is picked up, but a beautifully trimmed and sweet smelling one returns. It is great that so many different services are provided under one roof.
Halo Dogs have never let us down, never left a muddy dog (and knowing Edie she must be filthy after a day at the farm), and are always flexible if our needs change.
We equally love the work Justin and the team do for the welfare of less fortunate dogs. It is nice to feel that by supporting Halo Dogs, we are in some small way helping those dogs who aren’t as well cared for or loved as much as Edie.
