Available Roles at Halo Dogs
We’re regularly looking to expand our team of professionals in the following areas:
Dog Daycare & Animal Welfare Assistant (Full-Time)
Starting Salary: £30,000 per year (including pension)
Responsibilities:- Safely transport dogs to and from our Enfield site
- Supervising and caring for dogs in our daycare environment
- Supporting enrichment activities, socialisation, and safe group play
- Assisting with cleaning, feeding routines, and welfare checks
- Commitment to positive reinforcement and ethical practices
- Working closely with the wider team to maintain the highest standards of care
Dog Trainer (Positive Reinforcement) — Full-Time
Help dogs and their owners thrive through force-free, science-led training across day care and boarding programmes.
Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver 1-2-1 and group training using reward-based methods
- Create written training plans and progress notes
- Coach owners during handovers and classes
- Partner with behaviourists to tailor enrichment schedules
Canine Behaviour Assistant — Full-Time
Support behaviour casework and enrichment implementation under the guidance of senior trainers.
Responsibilities:- Capture structured observations and maintain accurate records
- Implement behaviour and enrichment plans
- Assist with owner communications and progress reviews
- Work across playgroups to reinforce safe, calm behaviours
Who We’re Looking For
- Passion for dogs and their wellbeing
- Reliability, strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork
- Willingness to learn and continuously develop your skills
- Commitment to positive reinforcement and ethical practices
- Prior experience with dogs is an advantage but not essential for all roles
- Full, clean manual driving licence
