Kris Hudson

History at Halo Dogs: Kris joined the team in early 2014 and demonstrated a passion and thirst for knowledge of all things dog related like no other! In a short space of time Kris learnt grooming skills, how to teach agility and is now a qualified dog trainer too!

Best moment at Halo Dogs: “Working with the rescue dogs. Not only do they challenge my abilities as a trainer but they also teach me heaps too!”

Favourite breed: English Bull Terrier

History with dogs, including current pets: Growing up in Yorkshire Kris shared his childhood with many animals including 2 dogs, Broigal a Dachshund and Diesel a Doberman Pinscher. He now shares his home with Ziggy a Shih tzu and recently rescued Sasha a Pyrenean Mountain Dog whom he has nursed back to health from a not-so fortunate start to life.

Interests outside of work: Kris is an accomplished musician and prior to joining the team he was a drummer for many West End productions including Dreamboats & Petticoats and Cabaret. He is also a keep fit enthusiast and an aspiring triathlete of the future. He also a family man and proud dad.
