Residential Dog Training

We provide fully qualified residential dog training in Enfield, North London. Residential dog training is not a ‘quick fix’ or ‘miracle cure’ for owners who can not be bothered. We much prefer to assist humans to learn the skills necessary to interact with their dog in a healthy, balanced and appropriate way. However we understand sometimes there can be behaviours that require a different approach and different environment to allow the dog to move on from a repetitive, undesired behaviour. This is where our Residential Dog Training can help unequivocally.

 

Definitely not a Dog Boot Camp, moreover rehabilitation with some comprehensive education, in a structured and controlled environment that allows your dog to learn at their own pace using positive reinforcement microshipping and reward based training methods.

 

Over the years our residential training has helped hundreds of dogs learn both the basics such as recall and walking nicely on a loose leash to helping dogs overcome more complex problems including fears, anxieties and aggression.

 

Residential training is not suitable for every dog, sometimes it could them a few weeks just to settle in to a new environment. However before we accept a dog for residential training we will first meet to discuss the issues, assess your dog and manage expectations. Most training takes on average 3 weeks. This includes the dog settling in, a bond being formed between dog and trainer, identifying the cause, implementing a training plan followed by consolidation and of course there is always time for a little fun and playtime to be had too!

 

Before your dog leaves us, it will be your turn to get some education. We will explain all we have found, all we have done and what you need to do in order to maintain the level of success your dog has achieved.
