luke osborneHistory at Halo Dogs: Luke began his career in early 2015, and it was clear from the outset this is his dream job! His compassion towards animals is unrelenting, and he can often be seen having in-depth conversations with the dogs in his care, even making some of them fall asleep through boredom.. zzzz ah zzzz.

Best moment at Halo Dogs: “Getting the phone call to say I had passed the interview and had joined the team at Halo Dogs! I haven’t looked back for a second and can’t wait for my alarm to go off in the morning for a new day at work”

Favourite breed: Cavapoo

History with dogs, including current pets: Luke’s first dog was a rescue Labrador from the RSPCA called Polly. Unknown to him at the time, she was also pregnant meaning he soon had 7 puppies to care for too. His second dog was therefore one of Polly’s pups called Malcolm, having successfully found homes for Malcolm’s other siblings.

Interests outside of work: Luke is a keen sportsman and loves extreme sports. He is also quite a good footballer and plays for a local team. Luke is also a fan of music festivals, so is quite used to being outdoors in the rain and mud!
